I caught a great tip from Hobie Swan of MindJet yesterday— Keeping Floating Topics Free—which reminded me to write about this.  Since Gnomedex I have become a total MindManager addict.  I outline documents in it and export to Word to flesh out.  I'm doing process maps.  Blog Ads by ChitikaWe've been putting our Gnomedex contact into a map (note to self, update the map with my cards).  Fred Fabro has been using it for a personal to-do list.  I've only briefly played with the RSS connector capabilty, but I envision serious coolness there.  I know that Buzz and others use it instead of PowerPoint for presentations.  This I'm going to have to try.  And since you can export to PPT, then you can exchange the docs with people.  Though, I think PDF is far more elegant.

Things I'd like though:
  • I'd like to be able to work with the central though easier.  Like move it around.
  • The clock-wise ordering of thoughts for outlines ... I'd much rather be able to click a thought and say this is one, this is two, etc.
  • I know that it isn't designed for flow charts, etc ... but something to organize things other than the lineo-circular would be very cool.
Hey, it's still awesome.  Gee what should I map now?
