Sometimes, I'm really glad I get too busy to blog something, this is one of those times. Yesterday morning I caught these two articles—Mark Cuban to relaunch IceRocket as BlogScour - The Office Weblog - CNET - Mark Cuban to relaunch IceRocket—wow, I thought, that's cool. While I was doing my obligatory visit to IceRocket I also signed up for their new IceRocket Mail service ... why not, who doesn't need another e-mail address (I'm a predictable tris.hussey AT icerocket DOT com). Anyway, I noticed that there was no indication of this upcoming change. Hmm, interesting. Later in the day I caught this post—IceRocket NOT Changing It’s Name TurboBlogger.com—which referred to the comments on Steve's blog—Micro Persuasion- IceRocket & Mark Cuban All About Blog Search. All is good. Actually all is better. I really like IceRocket. Good results, RSS-enabled searches. Search the web or blogs. Nice. I'm looking forward to giving BlogScour a good test drive. I'm thinking of cool features that would make my life easier ... maybe some connector with Skype or MSN (yes, sigh, I'm back on MSN ... no, don't go there. I have really good reason, trust me). Maybe something like give your blog(s) URL and it builds meta searches based on the topics you blog about. Oooh, that would be cool. Psst ... listening guys ... I'm available to chat almost anytime.
Let's hear it for the Blogosphere ... we're so cool, we need our own cadre of search engines to feed our need for info. Yeah!
