Earlier this week I saw the post on Burning Questions about BuzzBoost—Burning Questions - The Official FeedBurner Weblog—I don't know what was up with my head. Somehow I thought it was going to be complicated. Yeah, this is FeedBurner, the people who strive to make XML syndication fast and easy, so I shouldn't have been worried. I didn't take a look at theBuzzBoost Sample Applications, but I should have. Thanks to Nicole for highlighting BuzzBoost so I would get off my tush and look at it—New Feedburner feature- BuzzBoost. I am so glad I did! Man it is so cool! And it is easy. I've already put a podcast-enabled/friendly block on View from the Isle for my BlogCatalyst Podcasting homepage and updated the Qumana homepage with it (we were using another less flexible and reliable service before).

What's next? Well I think I'm going to create a Blogware static (that is non-blog) webpage for the Qumana blog called "What's the Buzz?" that will display the PubSub, Feedster, Technorati, BlogPulse, Icerocket, etc search feeds on Qumana, Lektora, and Qumana associated people.

Should be fun.

Hey Mike, LOL! I've only "Buzzed" two feeds thus far. The KM and CI potentials for this kind of thing are huge.

I'll be building the Qumana/Lektora Buzz page soon. Of course I first have to FB all the search feeds, then Buzz, then copy and paste and la la la ...

On the other side of it, the linky-love by doing this could be tremendous for small authors. Since this blog has a Page Rank of 6.

Tris: Am I missing something? I've been able to display RSS feeds anywhere in my blog templates for, wow, at least a year now... the sidebar of my main blog is basically just a long list of various feeds, without a trace of Javascript in sight. So while I can see a Blogger user turning to something like this, where's the value for everyone else?

Again, perhaps I'm overlooking something obvious.

It goes beyond the Blogware capability to support podcasts and you can build whole pages with it. So, for example, I'm going to build a static page in Blogware that will display the results of PubSub, etc searches for Qumana and Lektora. The Blogware version is cool from a headlines perspective, but it doesn't show the date, etc.

Also if you're not using Blogware, this is a really easy way to leverage your already burned feeds.
