myGoogleThe hot news of today is the new personalised Google--MyGoogle!?- ProBlogger Blog Tips - InformationWeek > Google > Google Gets Personal - Mark Evans -- Google's Evolution to a Portal - Personalize the Google home page @ Stephan Spencer.  If you have GMail, you've got it already.  I took it for a quick test drive this morning and for a beta, it's pretty darn good.  Okay, only American cities are in the weather and I can't get the Toronto stock exchange to come up, but I moved the widgets around with ease and it loads really, really fast.  It and my SkyDasher Beta page are now my default Firefox homepages (gotta love tabbed browsing!).

Blog Ads by ChitikaAgain, this tells me that Google has got some serious stuff up its sleeve.  Okay we can now include AdSense in our RSS feeds--note, I'm not doing this.  They picked up DodgeBall recently that will connect mobiles and maps and people.  Now this.  Can't you say "friend-dar?"  How about an interactive, live Google map of where your friends are via the DodgeBall technology?  How about a mobile-friendly myGoogle that does the same thing?

Then what if they acquire Skype...Skype presence of you, your friends, your colleagues on myGoogle, your phone...your site.

Yeah, I think you can see it.
