It's been a not-so-secret secret for a couple of months now - the new-and-improved Qumana. It's finally here.

I just downloaded the new app and it won't connect to my blog.

The password I enter will work when I "test" it, but no go when trying to connect in the editor. It seems to be truncating or changing the password, as the # of characters is different than the correct password, when I go back to edit the login.

Also, I can't drag images to the editor from my local machine. I can drag from the browser, but dragging local files does not work.

Do try re-doing the publishing destination. As for images, we're working on a better solution, but this help page explains it all:

I have, several times. When I get to the login field, it shows only 5 characters have been entered when the pw is 6. I put the pw back, test works, but clicking next and then finish and back to editor. I then try to select a category and get the bad pass/login info error. The pw is not being saved properly

That help page says:
"If you drag an image from your harddrive (or file), Qumana will automatically open the "File Upload" dialogue box when you double-click the DropPad to go to the editor."

This doesn't happen. When I try to drop the image, nothing happens. Is that how the new version is supposed to work?

Can't seem to get inmages uploaded via the DropPad. I get "MetaWeLog API or higher currently required to upload files" after I drag an image to Drop Pad then double click drop pad to try to add text.

i can upload pictures partially... i see the upload dialog, when i specify the path, it stops and then no response. i have to do it all over again and again and again...
